Christmas Chop For Parrots
Is it Christmas yet? Is it Christmas yet? Almost! We are enjoying every moment of the Christmas spirit! We absolutely LOVE this season there is something so magical and heartwarming about it. I’m sure Mango and Lambo feel the Christmas vibes with the constant carols, new decor around the house, and the red, green, and white food creations I’m making in the kitchen.
I decided to make Mango a CHRISTMAS CHOP for the next few weeks leading up to Christmas and into the new year. Normally, I make the seasonal chop from the Bird Tricks natural feeding system cookbook. Recently, I made the winter chop but have started running low because I make smaller batches due to our freezer being a little small at the moment! When we had our deep freezer I made massive batches but now I make half the batches. So instead of making another winter chop, I thought I would get creative and have some festive fun for Mango!
This chop includes a good balance of veggies, grains, and beans with variety and good nutrition over the holidays! I used all of Mango’s favorite ingredients to make sure this chop SLEIGHS! It’s got all the bells and whistles he loves so it was taste-test approved.
